Personas: At last, I get my way!

22 Jan

While improved stability and performance in Firefox 3.6 is nice and all, I’m most excited about Personas integration.  Not gonna lie — can’t get enough of those freakin’ cat Personas — and love changing Firefox’s look to perk me up, calm me down, reflect my latest obsession or just get through the day (see the video). I’ve been urging for native Personas support since I first laid my eyes on the add-on years ago.   And, here it is!

To that end, I’m celebrating this win with “What’s your style?” — a wonderful project collaborated on by folks in the UK, Macedonia, U.S. and more!  Just take a picture of yourself and your favorite Persona and upload it to our Flickr group tagged with “Personas”!  Sarah Doherty set up her very own “photo booth” to collect images at the Mountain View office yesterday — check out her post for instructions.

As I’m in the Paris office this week, I’m celebrating with “paris france.”

Me, my browser, and the Eiffel Tower somewhere in there!
